Speaking of fine wines, we have some brand new stock of Kapcsandy’s rare and highly sought after wines – State Vineyard Grand Vin and Rapszodia; both wines are rated highly by Robert Parker.
And don’t forget we are also carrying two vintages of Kapcsandy’s Merlot Roberta’s Reserve Merlot (2012 and 2013 vintages). Parker rated the 2013 vintage a perfect 100 points, on which he commented: “…off the charts and could easily eclipse a great vintage of Pétrus in a blind tasting.”
Kapcsandy is an award-winning, small estate-grown winery bottling three distinct red wines from Kapcsandy State’s Lane Vineyard. Made in very small quantities, these wines are rare gems indeed.
“This family-owned winery is situated at the southern end of Napa Valley, a few miles east of Yountville, a town that is becoming the epicurean center for Napa Valley. Kapcsandy produces between 2,500 and 4,000 cases of wine each year from their 15.5 acres of vineyards. They have added a couple of wrinkles to their classic lineup of Bordeaux varietals, including a crisp, stainless steel-fermented and aged white called Furmint, the well-known grape of Hungary, the country from which Lou Kapcsandy emigrated.” Robert Parker
